All Hokie Club members receive the following benefits regardless of membership level.....

Tax Deduction - IRS rules limit the deductible portion of your gift to 80% of the amount contributed. If you refuse in writing the right to receive any goods or services in consideration for your gift, your contribution is 100% tax deductible. (While this reflects our understanding of the law, you should consult your own tax advisor.)

Opportunity to Purchase Exclusive Hokie Club Merchandise  

Luggage Tag - You will be provided with a luggage tag to proudly display your support of the Hokie Club when you travel.

Window Decal - You will be provided with window decals indicating your club level so that you may proudly display your support of the Hokie Club.

Membership Card - Each Hokie Club member receives a personalized membership card indicating the gift level and date the membership expires.

Priority Seating - All club levels are entitled to priority seating at home football and basketball games (if available). Seating assignments are based on Priority Point Ranking. (Dec 31st  is the cutoff date for point priority for tickets for the following year.)

***Diamond Hokie Club level began January 2002

Stadium Club Access (Basketball) - The Bowman Room (located on the fourth floor of Cassell Coliseum) is open during basketball season 1 hour prior to each home game for pre-game meals and/or drinks and is restricted to Orange & Maroon Hokie Club members and above. Reservations are not required.

Stadium Club Access (Football) - The Bowman Room is open during football season 2 1/2 hours prior to each home game for pre-game meals and/or drinks and is restricted to Bronze Hokie Club members and above. Reservations must be made for meals and there is a charge. However, eligible members are welcome to stop by for drinks without a reservation. 

Parking Benefits (Home Football) - Silver Hokie Club members and higher are eligible to purchase a preferred parking season pass for all home football games. Some lower level Clubs may be eligible also, depending on availability. Parking assignments are based on Priority Point Ranking. (Dec 31st  is the cutoff date for point priority for parking for the following year.)

hokiesports.com the newspaper - The official newspaper for Tech Sports, is mailed on a quarterly basis to all Hokie, Orange & Maroon, and Bronze membership levels. Silver levels and above receive a free yearly subscription.

ACC Football Championship Tickets - Silver Hokie Club members and higher are eligible to purchase ACC Football Championship tickets if Virginia Tech is competing in the game. Ticket assignments are based on Priority Point Ranking. (Dec 31st  is the cutoff date for point priority for the following year.)

Away Game Football Tickets - Golden Hokie Club members and higher are eligible to purchase tickets for all away football games. Some lower level Clubs may be eligible also, depending on availability and opponent. Ticket assignments are based on Priority Point Ranking. (Dec 31st  is the cutoff date for point priority for tickets for the following year.)

Name Published in Football Game Program - Golden Hokie Club members and higher are recognized with their names printed in the game programs.

Reserved Parking (Football) - Platinum Hokie Club members and higher are entitled to receive an assigned parking space for the football season when purchasing a parking pass for the home games.  Some Golden Hokie club members may be eligible also, depending on availibility.

Men's ACC Tournament Tickets - Golden Hokie Club members and higher are eligible to purchase ACC Basketball Tournament tickets. Ticket assignments are based on Priority Point Ranking. (Dec 31st  is the cutoff date for point priority for the following year.)

Major Gift Levels

Major Gift Opportunities are payable over a five year period and available at the following levels:

  • $50,000 - Golden Hokie Champion

  • $100,000 - Hokie Century Champion

  • $150,000 - Endowed Position Scholarship 

Effective January 2002, lifetime benefits will not be offered for gifts of $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000. Donors who have previously made gifts at these levels will retain their lifetime benefits. New names were assigned to these levels.


Cumulative Giving Levels

The following Cumulative Giving Levels have been established as of January 1, 2002:

  • $100,000-$249,000 - Hokie Benefactor

  • $250,000-$499,000 - Orange & Maroon Benefactor

  • $500,000-$999,999 - Bronze Benefactor

  • $1,000,000-$1,999,999 - Silver Benefactor

  • $2,000,000-$4,999,999 - Golden Benefactor

  • $5,000,000-$9,999,999 - Platinum Benefactor 

  • $10,000,000 and up - Diamond Benefactor
